I kind of feel bad being the first one to post in the tool forum, because I'm not a full time mechanic, but tough luck you full timers- I beat you. Thanks to Steve for giving us a spot.

Now for a actual picture- I got to spend my Christmas $ today and I'm downright tickled at my score. I had to drive two hours away for the first one- A Wright tool 1" drive socket set

Sockets from 1-7/16 to 3 1/8" ratchet , extension, breaker bar and adaptor. One usa made ingersoll rand impact socket, other than that a full set -

Second buy was also from craigslist

Also wright tools, 3/8"& 1/2" socket sets, full wrench set to 1-1/4" some extra wrenches and a dandy tool box

Nice grabs. I bought the baby brother of that set last summer of CL. 3/4 drive, 3/4 to 2 3/8 by 16th's no skips. I was tickled to snag it for $150.

My only complaint was some Jackwagon had spun every socket on a screwdriver against the bench grinder to mark it.

I love Wright tools. Their Wrightgrip wrenches are similar to Snap On flank drive plus wrenches.

When I started as a mechanic the weekend after getting notified I had the job I hit the local flea market and lucked into a full set of Wright wrenches from 1 3/8 to 2 1/2. I was glad I didn't have to go with cheap tools or shell out the money for expensive ones to fill my big wrench collection.

Its part of the set my dad bought when he was in Germany in tha Army. You guys will never beat the deal he got i dont remember exactly what he payed but he almost did buy them because the shiping to get them home was more than he payed for the set it cost him around $20.00 for shiping.

You can contact Wright tool directly. They should be able to help you out

Their tools are some of the best. The wrenches are my favorite. You can put the wright grip open end on a fitting and put a pipe one the end of the wrench or hit it with a hammer and not have to worry much about the wrench spreading like lesser tools as Craftsman. The wrench set is well worth the money even at $250. Proto is similarly priced but their open end is not as aggressive. Snap On is more aggressive but their wrenches are uncomfortable and the equivelant set is around $5-600 on sale

Harry Epstein in Kansas City is a Wright Dealer also. I will need to contact Wright or a dealer also because of the ratchet in my set. I went to pick up the set and the ratchet held in forward but slipped in reverse. At $200 though it was still a deal. I pulled apart the head of the ratchet and found these stripped teeth on the pawl.

The forward side is fine, its just bad in reverse.

Good score, I love Wright tools. I have a set of metric and std combo wrenches, a lot of sockets, and their dual paw ratchets. All of them are high quality.
