Terex 35-2 excavators at auction. Looks like Terex sold mini ex division to Yanmar.

Noticed a few Terex 35-2 mini excavators at a Lyon auction coming up in January. A little research shows that Terex sold the mini ex division to Yanmar. Any thoughts on buying these machines ? Hope they wouldn't be like the Bobcat 442 from a few years. Let me know what you think ??

I thought Yanmar made all the mini exs for most brands already.

These Terex at this auction are listed as having kubota engines. My Deere excavators have Yanmar engines.

what happened to the 442??

The Bobcat 442 was rebranded by Bobcat. Not very well supported after a few years.

These machines listed at this auction are most likely the end of the run for Terex machines. How difficult will it be to find parts and service down the road ? If the Terex 35 has been great for years, I would take the chance and buy one. The auction claims that they sell with warranty.
