After chatting with several of the farmers on this forum & much research we found a guy to eliminate all the DPF issues on Volvo Wheel loaders and other equipment . He's saved our equipment & fleet. 940 353 7278 . They don't get hot anymore afterwards either nor Regen .

DPF issues on Equipment & Rigs

Hey Ben I had talked to several farmers on the thread about DPF problems on our big trucks and equipment and was given his number. You pull your ecm off your truck or equipment and overnight it to him and he does a custom ecm tuning & delete & sends it back. We did both our Volvo loaders and excavator along with our peterbilt and international MaxxForce rigs and it pretty much saved our farming equipment. We had so many Regen issues prior to that we could barely keep our equipment running.
Our equipment is running better than ever and we are getting much better fuel mileage!

We did our 18wheelers in September and our Volvo loaders & excavator over the last few weeks. Ours aren't in warranty anymore and we service all our own equipment. Really The only reason the dealers were getting any of our equipment even under warranty was for all that Regen crap and then all they could do is charge us several grand for a DPF filter and reset the program, then a few months later we were back in the same boat again. I have one Detroit rig and one John Deere tractor left with that regen crap on it and I'm sending the ECMs before end of this month for tuning and a delete of those. I can also tell that we are getting more power and better fuel mileage on everything we've had tuned. All that heat & sut pumped back in those just hurts the engine, I'd recommend getting rid of it if any way possible.

As I also own Volvo loaders and have experienced the dpf issues, did just re programming solve the problem? What else was needed? My knowledge is you can delete the regen off gone ecm, but the filters need to be cleaned, removed or punched out.
Is that right?

Hey Blowerman yes he sent us instructions on how to modify the filter as well. These loaders and haul trucks are running much better now . Will be ridding the rest of the equipment of that stuff as soon as I can park it for a couple days.
