Y53 came to Franklin new Donny Gill ran it for a short time then Dave Smith then Fred Fredrickson. Was last seen at the Barge ramp in Sarita awaiting an uncertain future We were still M&B then so it had to be around 98-99 when she left. Right in the middle of the big garage sale

Look what showed up in my neighbourhood! J-73!

99% sure that yarder was just for sale on Forestech Equipment website-not there now, believe it was listed for 59,000$ May have been Hayes Forest services years ago,as there was one like it featured in the well done 85 minute long 'Loggers' dvd by Dylan Winter in 2004

Strange I don't see the bulge for the tag Clutch on the side door .Not water cooled maybe? Or maybe this first one built , the end of the carrier looks odd to. Should be slots cut in it so you can store things in it

Could it be one of the Northwest Loaders Madill built in the mid 1970's while designing their 075 loaders , on an early Madill carrier ? BCFP Renfrew Div. ordered and took delivery of a Nortrhwest Loader on a Rubber Tire Carrier in the mid 1970's , I wasn't there at the time , so I'm not sure if the Rubber Tire Carrier was built by Madill . The unit had some issues and was returned to Madill and replaced by the Northwest loader pictured in posting #2419 . The Northwest Loader that was returned to Madill had some upgrades , and then was sold to Pacific Logging Sooke Div. I was running an American 599 loader #561 at Sooke in the Fall / Winter of 1978 , the Northwest was there then .

Just got off the phone from Gordy Isacson and Bruce Girdlestone. Gordy identified the 075 Madill Loader as the first (Proto type) one built s/n 90020 Dec. 1978 , purchased by Malloch & Moseley Nitinat Lake Div. 1st operator Chris Pears . Bruce tells me , when the Loader arrived at Nitinat it didn't have a water cooled Tagline Friction or a Super Snorkel . Burning up Tagline Frictions was a problem (no bulge for Tag Clutch) , so Madill up graded the Tag Friction/Clutch after this picture was taken . When Forestland Industries was created this 075 Madill was part of the deal , when Hayes Forest took over Forestland Industries this Madill 075 went to the Auction .

Good info there,Met Gord once, had a good chat.We all are on the same page ,so to speak, good people genuine interests. The boom on this line loader is similar to the further above pic you identified as the Northwest.Which has three letters barely visible.Figuring it must say M.I.L.,the Mantle booms.

camptramp,Roy was at Nitinat for 9-10 yrs. He ran a 044 on tracks. He had no fear. Could stand on one track and also load crossways on old lowbed. Never saw him on a rubber tired yarder. Could send a tingle up your spine to watch

That 1400 sold almost a year ago. Finning had it. Maybe we can track it down. I read in further posts that it was the only one made ?

Hi I talked to my father Bill Forrester (madillbill) he looked up the 075 serial numbers and that 90020 was the first one built it was built for Lemare Lake Logging but they did not take it. Don't know why but the 2nd one built was sn:90024 and it went to MB Sarita div all the first ones had air tags on them then Hayes got the first water one. Larry
