Need to replace track drive shaft bushings & the chain sprocket that drives the track sprocket on a P&H 312 excavator. Need to locate replacement parts if can find them.Any leads would be appreciated.

How about some pictures? It sounds like these might be fabricated from common parts and you could have new replacements made cheaper than tracking something down from a junkyard, removing it, and still having a worn out part.

The bushings can likely be matched or copied pretty easily. it was common on the old chain drives to rebuild the sprockets with weld. If they are a flat plate, it's probably an easy job for someone with a plasma/ cutting table to cut out a new one and flame harden the teeth or use a harder material. I knew a guy that had 5 P&H H418's and 1 newer 1250 with the modern drive system.

P and H as in the mining company? Maybe contact them up in Milwaukee and if the parts are unavailable they might give you the specs to fab new ones.

This would be a late 60's, early 70's machine. I doubt P&H would have any parts. You could try Minnparr. They supply parts a lot of parts for older and obsolete models.
