when a trackhoe goes on its side what is the startup procedure??

well got in a hurry tonight :Banghead, just when i thought i knew what i was doing!! any way i pulled it upright and am going to let it sit over night. is there anything a guy should do before start up. it was probably like this for about 30 min.

I know a guy...(ahem) that did that with a Cat320. Let it sit overnight and crank the engine at least 12 revs by hand to make sure there is no oil in the cylinders, check your fluids and go back to work.

Pull the air filter

I always pull the injectors and spin the motor over also.

Check batteries sitting right and not leaked, esp if lead acid. Check hyd levels if it leaked much, if it has a tank breather filter make sure it's not oosing oil.

Check oil levels. Pull intake hoses from the manifold and coolers for signs of oil. Removing glows plus is a MUST before cranking. If there's oil on top of the pistons you'll end up with bent con rods if you don't.
