This is the last thing I was expecting to be a problem. Painting SkatTrak1700C. Arms without bucket in raised position with safety lock in place a little over 24 hours. Arm lowered to touch steel safety channel overnight.

Painting done and I was able to raise arm and remove safety channel. But I can't seem to lower below lock point. It will go up and down about 6 inches at top of travel.

Lock out button seems to work. Lower seat bar and press button. Forward - Reverse fine. Tilt will cycle thru full cycle.

Machine looks GREAT. It's just kind of worthless and stupid looking right now...

Any ideas or industrial strength cuss words? Thanks!!!!!!

So when you power down, does it still bog the engine? Might be a stuck check valve in the lift circuit. 6" sounds almost like the spool is not cracking all the way or you have a hose still plugged.

Thanks for input. Got me thinking.

Found section in manual for "Lift Arm Lockout Solenoid". Sounds like a suspicious character to me. Looks like a series of ohmmeter checks. Was cleaning in that area while prepping...

Rain coming. Good project for tomorrow.

Best kind of fix. Went on vacation. Lift arms settled to ground and now work normally. Wonder if when arm was propped up with safety bar overnight, the hydraulics leaked unevenly and caused the hard stop.
