For top of the line look at Diamond and Bradco ($9-10k), for a good mower at about half the pricetag CID has a few good options. I own a Diamond and a CID and have been happy with both. The Bobcat brand brushcat is good for pasture as long as the ground is firm and not too sandy, if it's sift the rollers tend to push up dirt in my experience. You also can't tilt or raise the mower to deal with the bigger stuff. I live in SC where things are pretty sandy.

It will tax your hydro cooling system so make sure it's up for the task.

I bought a SkidPro this spring for my S-570 Bobcat, It is a open front design and it works really good, It has a 377 LBS. flywheel that gives it the ability to take down trees up to 8" I am just mowing willows with mine so far but it is a great way to clear brush, here is a clip of it in action.

Well I have nothing that big to take down right now, and those "dinky" willows grow in clumps 2-3' in diameter with 40-50 2" stalks coming out of the ground, I just didn't get any video of that, I also have a Land Pride 7' brush hog on a 60 hp tractor and it sucks trying to cut them with that setup, Yes it will do it but I would guess not for long.
If you want to see the Skid Pro cutting the big 8" stuff go to the Skid Pro website and there is a video of it doing that, it is the "Industrial brush cutter open deck demo video" video, they get into the 8" stuff near the end of the video.
I have no connection with them, I just bought a cutter from them based on my research online and it turned out to be a well built excellent product, I think that is what the OP was looking for info about.
