I need some help guys. Working on a D6R XW Series III.
I have spoke with four local area dealer about this.
when Operating the machine the engine dies as if stalling out. Crazy thing is im not getting any codes about anything
machine dies anytime you go to put machine under any kind of load or anytime you turn
I have went thru changed fuel filter cleaned out fuel tank refilled with fresh clean diesel.
using cat et have also ran cut out it is saying that cylinders are ok. huei was replaced about 3 months ago by another tech.
in a bind needing this machine and owner will not send to dealer to have fixed.

also when the machine is idling up it takes a few moments for it to reach idle at roughly 2000 rpm

ok I will but 99/100 times if the pressure is low it would emit a code for low fuel pressure.

Take the skid pan off under the torque. Start it and drive it around until warm then go under machine and compare the temp of the torque housing to the cooler lines. If it`s a lot hotter than the lines the torque is falling apart inside.

May be off track here but, Is there a fuel check valve in the return in the head on those? Can't recall if it's those or older... If it does, it maybe stuck open.

Torque flooding will bog the engine down at idle and will cause high idle to fall while running in neutral. If the torque is not leaking the stator may have broken and that will kill the engine under load.

IIRC there was something in the control system that slowed the engine reaching High Idle when it was cold. Other than the rest of the suggestions above I'd be thinking turbo boost, or more to the point a lack of it.

Yes. The response from low idle to high idle is slower than usual. But idle does not fall while in neutral only when trans is engaged in f or r the machine slowly dies at a full turn if held completely. Fuel is ok pressures tanning just fine. Turbo was replaced about a year ago I was leaning towardsthat but removed exhaust side all turbines feel ok no indication of any failure.

Have you checked the turbo boost..?
If the turbo is the type with a wastegate in it then I suggest you check the integrity of the hose that feeds the wastegate from the compressor housing.
With a Serial Number I can dig the specs out for you if you need it.

The hose is almost new and have applied regulated shop air to hose from to compressor side. The waste-gate actuated properly

I agree with bob have seen low engine power and overheating torque with leaking convertor and or mechanical damage
Check the torque convertor screen in bottom of convertor housing, this will give you an idea of convertor condition

Checked temperatures or torque housing as well as hoses going to and from cooler all temps are about the same not much difference. I uploaded two videos to youtube to show what the machine is doing with Titles D6r Does When turning and D6r dies underload or turning uploaded by Donovan Owens

check stall in third gear and make sure it is in spec, check torque cvt psi in and out make sure it is spec, pull a line on bottom of torque if it leaks out more then a 1/2 gallon then you have seals leaking thru this will bog engine down. they say if a machine has a low idle issue then replace barrels and plungers in fuel injection pump this would be on a 3306 not a c9.i have one that is slow to reach full rpm with low boost, it had a bad no.1 exhaust valve not seating properly plus a gasket that had some blowby right underneath the air filter box where it attached on to the head.
