Good to hear from you boone. The chain saw would simplify things but my implanted defibulator really does not like me using the chain saw. I do still use one on occasion, but only in a have to case. It is much too wet around here to do any real work. The ground is just rotten.

I'd like to have the Pioneer 1000 , 5 seater. My 2 girls love to ride. I have an 08 Kawasaki Teryx that has been a tough machine. and still is at 2500 miles. If the 943 I bought holds up I may more serious about the Pioneer. What is yours , the 700?

Buddy of mine has the Pioneer 500. He's had really good luck with it. It's the first side by side I'd ridden in and what sold me on getting one. Hope my Ranger holds up like your Teryx. Had it a year and so far so good.

My Pioneer is the 700-4. The rear seats will lay down to create the rear bed. So far it seems to be just what I needed. I can haul grand kids around or use it as a tough work machine around here.

It has full ROPS and seat harnesses, carries a fire extinguisher and first aid kit. Seriously, what else does it need?

Sense in operating it for one.

I have done stupid things with machines but that little vixen would be a bad habit run amok!!

I haven't been doing much in the way of dirt work lately. For a period there I ran into a few health snags but things are about back to normal. I went out and started the dozier and loader yesterday, let them run for a while. They had not been started since early March. Both machines fired right up and I moved them to a new summer time parking place.

The VA gave me a grant to build on to my home and I have been getting bids for that project. The bidders figured $800 for removal of a 30 inch white oak tree that is in the way of construction and another $950 to remove an old rotten shed. I think that with the dozier and loader I can save that money. I will also save on a demolition dumpster, I told the contractor to just pitch it in the dump truck and they will never see it again. Nice to get a little return on my investment in the machines. I still need to drain that lake and clean it out but now days I just don't get in a hurry, but I did manage to get a little bit of grease under my fingernails earlier in the week. I had to overhaul the carburetor on the M151 Army Jeep. Just to keep the proper smell about myself, I did clean my hands in diesel fuel when I got the job finished.

I keep up and read the forum . I will post and get some pictures when I can.

Nice to see you back James. People were getting worried about you when you hadn't posted for the best part of 6 months.

Yes good to hear from you! :waving

I know how "projects" can take over your time. We thought we had a "little" problem with our septic system, just needed routine pumping. Well turns out the old cast iron pipe through the foundation was broke then found out the tank was falling apart inside only thing that might be salvageable are the leach lines. So this Friday they are coming to replace the tank and the same day the carpenters are coming to begin the remodel of the bathroom and wife has to be out of town due to a death in her extended family. Now why can't I get that project of putting the old Yamaha/sidecar on the road. Oh and wife asked yesterday if we were going to take a vacation this summer!

Don't know how I ever found time to hold down a full time job for 45 years!

Very glad to see a post, had been a bit worried if not perplexed why none. My own projects are a bit to the overwhelming state as well, with my old farm tractor coming or actually BEEN DUE for a overhaul for some time, the old Allis crawler is showing signs of degradation to where I really need to get on it yet I still have the farm, full time job and new house as well shop, maintenance on autos, maintenance on yard etc calling for time!! Health issues could put a stop to all but necessities at any time.
