Deere 160 Lc throttle issues

My throttle quit working on my 160, auto idle and everything. Worked one day and the next morning nothing. I have 2 plugs going electric motor, one plug has 2 hot wires , so how do I decide if it's the motor or the switch? Motor is $575.

I don't know about a Deere but on a Hitachi you can go in the monitor and see the volts as you turn the throttle.
