30's are going for 500, would have been nice if the house had more concrete since concrete as long as exposed rebar is cut is free to dump only cost is the hauling

You are right about quick i started around 10am today and left at 3 because the rain gods were scaring me

It's about the same here.

Our dumpster pricing is a flat rate with a 6 ton cap, anything over the cap is priced from $20 to 30 a ton. Depending on location and distance to the landfill a 30 will run $350 to 425 flat rate with the tonnage cap.

As you said, a backhoe might not be the best machine but it works and looks like it works real good for you. Nice looking job!

i feel your growing pains, we've all been through them and will continue going through them while growing a small business. Every step you take that's a bigger one than the stage your at, comes with them. Be it time, scheduling, manpower or equipment, we're all going to fall short and be overloaded while growing a business from time to time. I'm going through one of those stages at the moment.

You did a great job with your backhoe, yes a jack of all trades and master of none but look at what you can do with it. That nice profit job is coming and it may take a few of those to get to where you want to be but keep your eye on your goal and keep producing good work - the rest will fall into place.;)

I take my tag line to heart - Take what you win, run what you brung

Thanks cm for the kind words. Im just wanted that nice big job to get me on the map down here all the big jobs are handled by the big guys and im trying to get my.name out there for stuff other than the little demo or water extensions etc... i finally found one guy who wants to work, enjoys it, is on time and very careful so i try to keep him busy all the time . So lets see only time will tell we might see a thread about my new to me 200 hitachi or something to that extent

Congrats on the machine monster, hope it serves you well. That's a nice size machine, you can do a lot with that.

That Linkbelt is a healthy step up. Do you have work scheduled for it? Looking forward to your updates!
