Blk Prince That was a Menzies Bay Division (M&B) truck Her unit number was H179 Had a V12 Cummins engine Kenworth "DART" rear diffs in her. She was put under the lowbed for a while She was eventually converted over to a V12 GM engine, Was eventually sold to Irvin Olsen and taken into a camp. Maybe 1931 Kenworth can step in and give some more details as to specs. I will see what else we can come up with about her I am sure BTC has some stuff on her also. I will phone Danny Brown and confirm OK

Who would ever think a nice guy down in Cannon County would come up with pictures of our rare trucks. Thanks Ed for posting them. We have a few guys right now on the case and are going to try and get current pics. Wonder if she still has the "Happy Face Michelins" on her There was a complete set on in your pictures. Hi to Brenda and sunshine

I've fallen off the beaten path with this project a bit. I have decided that I won't be painting this truck in order to show that the body is all hand crafted metal. Since this is the route I am taking it will be a "custom" truck instead of a tribute like I would normally build. I haven't decided if it is a mistake to do this or not but I guess it could always be painted later on down the road.

Thanks Ian! It will be much the same as my HD. Both trucks share the same type of "kit" chassis and have metal bodies. I just wanted to show off the fact that all of my hand built trucks have been made using metal instead of styrene like most guys use.

Beautiful work, Reg! The different metals used makes a nice accent.

(Loved the vid and pics you posted of your "haul road")

Your truck looks great, and Though it would look good painted, I understand why you are leaving it, for now.
It really jumps out at you with the different metals.

You certainly do first rate work. I hope one day I can catch one of the logging shows and see them firsthand.

I like the no paint idea and seeing how much work you put into your models. You are a true craftsman, extraordinaire!

Thanks for all of the compliments on my toy KW. Here's another update from the last week or so. Hopefully all of the fab work will be finished by the ATHS show. It won't have all of the electronic goodies for a while yet but I might be able to drive it around! The sky is filled with smoke here today so it is very strange looking outside. Oddly enough it makes the trucks photograph really well.
