No start. Please help

Hello. New here. Have done a fare bit of reading and liked what I have read.
I am helping a family member out with 98 763 Bobcat. It is not starting. We have checked the battery and it is good. We are getting no power to the panels. I checked the fuses and the computer one was blown. I replaced it and still nothing All I am getting is a clicking from the right side. I tried switching the relays around and still nothing. Does anybody have any suggestions? Also could someone tell me where the computer is on it.

We're going to need more info on what you've done so far. You say the clicking is on the right side, right side of what? Cab? Engine? Are you getting power to the starter solenoid?

Any number of things could be giving you this problem, I'd start at the starter looking for power then trace back to the cab. It could be part of the safety lock out function at work too. Do some more testing and bring us the results.

When i replaced the fuse for the computer the click started on the right side of the cab ( if you where sitting in it )
As well there is no power to to the main pannals. no power to the ign. The starter soilonoid has power @ it.

First thing, check the safety bar switch in the cab. If that switch is mis-adjusted or fried, your machine will not start nor will you have power to some items.

OK. Battery good. So check battery cable leads and connectors, particularly the ground. Look at the main power relay. Terminals all tight and clean? Look for any circuit breakers the machine may have, test them to make sure power is connecting through the breaker. Test for power at the starter switch. Test for power at the run-stop solenoid on the injector pump. No power, back up and trace wires and check terminal connections for loose parts and retainers.

You can use a jumper battery and jumper cables and connect directly to the starter to see if it turns the engine over.

So I jumped the starter. Turns the engine over.
Every once in while the panels start beeping. Almost like it is a trouble code. But the counts do not make any sense.

Does anybody know where the computer is on those machines? I would like to have a look around it and see if there are any visible problems. I am wondering why the computer fuse was blown.

siting in the machine computer is on left side by the feet controls take the plate off and thats it.I had same problem with my t250 wouldnt start on its own jumped it off fired up. come to find out was wiring harness and computer both bad and some $3000 dollars later.

I had similiar problem with 2000 773G, come to find out some where on my machines theres a wire that touches and pops one of the breakers, when bouncing around, which in return did pretty much excally what your describing. All we did was installed a fuse that resets, so if the breaker pops your machines will still run until you turn it off and then the fuse will reset itself assuming that you don't run your machine for very long periods of time. Try doing this and I believe you should be good to go.
