Hi everyone,
Quick question, we have been looking into purchasing a machine control system for our Kubota KX91, and have run across a system called IdigBest. We have been in touch with the company, viewed many youtube videos and the such and the controller seems to be a quite good.

However, I have yet to find any reviews or reports from anyone who has actually purchased and used the system, only information posted by the owner of the company himself.

Have any of you heard of the I Dig Best System, do you know anyone who has used it? Here is the link to the website for the company, please share your ideas and opinions about this system, I want to know it is worth the investment.

TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR USERS!

“Lots of benefits to the technology. Speeds up the operator and saves labor. My laborer isn’t chasing the excavator around the jobsite anymore. Now he is free to set up the next task at hand. Once operator was comfortable with the system, the daily production soared… Awesome system”. Triple D Excavating, IL.

“Unfortunately I purchased a competitors system weeks before I found IDigBest. The other system had many issues. After sending the unit back for upgrades, then having accuracy and reliability issues, I put it on the shelf and purchased the IDigBest system. IDigBest is simple to use and extremely accurate. This winter when I have down time, I am going to mount the other system side by side and video the differences. The competitor will be embarrassed by the differences”. Ralph Conely, Beaver,OH.

“ I am a very happy that I invested in the system. For a small operation, not having to have a grade guy is great. The time I save not having to get out of the machine or set up a laser is helpful. I love the speed. I bench out on a curb and go.” D & T Excavating, Illinois

“ No more guessing. No more tape measure. Touch and go. I love the speed. The auto dig is fantastic. To be able to dig fast, flat and on grade is remarkable. I cannot be happier with the time I save.” Kindred Excavating, Indianapolis

“ Great for everything around the farm from catch basins to tile installation. Let’s me get ahead of the tile plow. I dig down to find the tile, touch it, zero out and go. I like knowing the tile plow is starting out on grade, every time.” Countryside Farms, OH

“ It is priceless to know your elevations at all times. When laying pipe, the biggest adjustment that I had to get used to, was nobody lying to me anymore. I do not rely on a grade man. The teeth are always dead on. The speed and accuracy shows through when I dig highly regulated hog confinement pits. In the past they took 4 days. With the system I have been consistently able to complete in 3 days. On a side note, I enjoy reading all the Facebook posts from young operators who argue they are so good the system is not beneficial to them. I just laugh at how much they are missing out.” Stoneking Demolition, IL

“ I have been amazed at all of the short cuts I can take advantage of from the seat of the excavator. The amount of information and feedback I have with one touch blows me away. I have been able to speed up all the tasks I have been doing for nearly 20 years. I look at the jobsite and my excavator differently now. I know and have confidence that all of my needed grades are perfect. It is awesome to look back at the ditch after the auto steer is done. The flat bucket leaves a finished ditch like never before.” Brian, Indianapolis

Hi Aomasonryatl,

This is my first post on heavy equipment forums and I hope I don't break any rules with my post.

let me introduce myself.

I've started my business back in 2001 when things were really good in the earth moving/excavation game. I've seen good times and bad and anyone who's survived the gfc will know what I'm talking about.

Phill from idigbest is one of those guys, give him a call, he's a great bloke and more than willing to share his story with you.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Phil, the guy that made this system. I like you were sceptical about such a system. Like you I contacted Phil and he explained the system to me in depth. It still took me over six months to finally jump in the deep end and part with my hard earned money and buy one of his systems. Someone always has to go first, right? The wife thought that I was crazy buying something that there were no "real reviews" on but let me spend $$$ after a lot of begging, lol. The system arrived after sitting in customs for over three weeks ( longest 3 weeks of my life :) ). And I did a self install, with a bit of help from Phil over whatsapp.

I'm not the one to ask for help as I think I know everything and don't really want to be s bother.

I finally bit the bullet and gave in and asked Phil for some guidance on the install . He was more than happy to help me sort out any issues that I had come across, he even flew over to Australia to meet up with me to iron out all the little bugs with the system.

What I can I say about the system six months down the track? My honest opinion. The reason why you don't hear about it on the forums is that it is so good, you don't want your competitors to know about it. That's the truth. I'm putting this out here now because I keep seeing those bloody copy "CAT" systems that CAT has and think that the little man (idigbest) needs the support from us (the earth moving community). Phil started off as an operator and came up with this system all by himself without the big $$$$ of the huge companies. All in all, his system worksand is better than I thought it could ever be.

No regrets and I'm happy to answer any questions etc regarding his system

Cheers
