I have a 2012 NH L220 with high-flow hydraulics & the 8-function joysticks. But not the enhanced (higher pressure) high flow. The 8-function joysticks are pictured below:
So far, I've only used the 1/2" std. flow with the proportional control on the right stick. I understand that to use the 5/8" high flow, I would need to hook to the 5/8" couplers, set the panel switch to high flow, & then still use the proportional control on the right stick to control it.
But, I'm a little unclear on how to use the Multifunction buttons (2 on the left stick, 2 on the right stick). The Operator's Manual is very vague on their use. Clearly, in order to use them, the attachment must be plugged into the 14-pin multifunction electrical outlet under the aux. hydraulic couplers on the left arm. The symbols on 3 of the multifunction buttons are hydraulic cylinders, but it seems that they must be controlled by electric servos signaled thru the multifunction outlet. I suppose the exact nature of what these buttons control depends entirely on the type of attachment.
Can someone give some examples of what kinds of attachments would use these multifunction buttons & the multifunction outlet to be controlled?? And how they might be hooked up??
Does anyone have a NH or Case (alpha series) with this same setup? And have or know how to use such attachments/functions?? How about KSSS??
