D4H LGP serial number location.

Hello, just got an early 90's D4H. Can someone tell me where on the tractor to find the serial number?

On the upper left side of the back of the tractor final drive housing is a missing plate, the 4 rivits are still there. Hope that's not the I D tag but prolly is..

That's where you would normally look. There should be a stamping underneath where the tag was. They also put them in the right rear corner of the cab.

Or what's the engine SN? I should be able to give you the machine SN based off of that.

as above. If you clean the paint off in the area where the four rivets are the Serial Number should be hand stamped on the frame in the same location.

So if there is a ripper or a winch on the back you have to remove it ?

If the OP can see the area where the rivets that held the plate are/were then no disassembly should be required to reveal the S/N.

Is there not the same plate located behind the operators seat between the seat and the fuel tank ?

Thanks guys, haven't checked the cab yet but I found the stamped number below the plate location though.

Number is 9DB04370 Can anyone tell me the year and series of this D4H LGP?
