Depending on what you are doing with your grader, there are times when you need good people on the ground with you. Cleaning out stakes, around manholes, and along curbs. I like a surveyor that is not above checking his or her numbers when the grade does not seem right. I always tell people that are working on the ground not to be afraid to come and tell me if they see something wrong. Sometimes they can notice things on the ground that I might have missed. I think a good dump man is an art in itself. Anything that makes my job easier. Any thoughts on this.

Doing rough grade with a 613 I set my own grade.
When the grader showed up he had to just polish up my work. ;-)
