Yeah it does alright. Hard part is shoveling out the sliding door on the barn to get it open. I keep it backed in so I can push a path out and work my way out from there.

Here's a picture from way back when I was still just a little guy... This is a Fordson Major that was equipped with a Sherman Major backhoe and an Athey loader. I just loved that machine, unfortunately something in the engine went south, oil started puking out of the coolant overflow tank so we took the engine out and were told that parts were no longer available. It sat for a few years without an engine before my dad sold it for the measly sum of $250! I will never forgive him for this  Well ok maybe I will but still... It was a great old tractor, I sure wish we still had it...

Digger D- thanks for the complement on the 580C, I'm proud to own it!! It'd be nice to have the 4X4 and turbo, but I had to draw the line somewhere ( I started out looking at the "antiques"). We live in northern Berrien County about 3 miles East of Lake Michigan. Mostly Blueberry, Peach, apple, cherry farms over here. I subscribed to your YouTube channel- I'd like to have a wide ditch digging bucket like you have, but I'll get by with what I've got for now.. Still on the learning curve.

Thanks, jackleg for subscribing to my YouTube channel. And if there is ever anything I can do to help you just let me know, and if I can I will. I do to a lot of auctions and if I see a Case Ditching bucket I will let you know, should be able to pick one up for 200 - 300ish ?? The 48" on the JD I pickup for I think 250 at a auction. so they are out there .
Thanks, Diggerdave

I have a couple of new Case buckets (18" and 24") that I would let go for $600 per.
