Has anyone lost high speed in their transmission, machine still moves but will not go into anything higher than 2.0 and also it's trying to creep to one side or the other when moving any ideas

650j uses hyd. pumps, (2) hyd.drive motors one for each side and proportional valves and servos..
along with several speed sensors..the problem needs to be addressed with the service advisor software....

You dont need software to diagnose it you can use the machine, its actually easier. Does yours have a tcu with a display in the same location as this https://www.heavyequipmentforums.com/showthread.php?22064-Deere-650H-Codes under the left armrest? If it does pull all codes and post them. If it has the tcu but with no display it can be viewed on the monitor. Again post any codes.

Without seeing codes it sounds like two problems. Possible PCP failure/ null ajustment for the mistrack. It not going past 2nd speed it sounds like the motor shift solenoid problem.

As I say though. Check for codes.

The software will limit the machine to 2.0 when there are certain fault codes. If a fault is active, the yellow book with a wrench light will turn on the display.

On the monitor, click Menu, then Codes - what are the active and stored codes? If you give me the numbers I can tell you what the code means. Like Andrew said, could be a shorted shift solenoid or speed sensor if it's pulling to one side. Could also just need to be calibrated.

I am having the exact same problem on my 550 J. On initial start up it will shift all the way to 3.0 for about 10 or 15 minutes of operation and then stops going above 2.0 until I shut it down and let it cool off for at least one hour. No codes showing. Any suggestions?
