Hi I have a 2000 Hino FD with a 6speed manual, single axle. I built it to save my back for when im working. I picked up an old Hiab 950ss that had been sitting for 20 years in the bush, built a torsion box on top of the frame and bolted the crane to it. (fun project, piles of learning)
The truck was originally a refer truck with a huge refer unit on it.
My problem is i do a lot of hi way driving, when i hit 100 km/h its reving 2800 rpm, does anybody have a bigger gear ratio for the rear end? 4:10 or something? shes drinking the fuel.
I dont know of any places to get used Hino stuff around Ottawa Canada. Anyone know of somebody in the US or Canada i could deal with?
