That's nice looking. It looks like a diecast model.

Saw it yesterday at Conex. Case guy said it would end up at Case HQ for display.

I hope Deere's construction equipment is better than their new agricultural equipment.

Nice set up, wonder what the hitch weight would be if the jacks were up?

LOL didn't even seen that

20,000lbs any takers?

All that weight has got to be hell on the jacks.

Not sure on the tongue weight but have hauled many a 580/90 with a goose neck and dodge almost identical to that. Dodge and case are pretty tight i guess because of cummins but i do know that there are several rebates if you buy a new piece of CaseIH farm equipment you get money back if you also buy a new Ram and viceversa

Don't think Case BHoes use cummins anymore ….. did they not go to Iveco ??? ….. they did in all the other equipment ???

All that weight has got to be hell on the jacks.

Unless Case did something extra spectacular, I'd say the total weight of the 580 is 20,000# ….. been a while since I had the chance to weigh one …the older (~'90's) 580's weigh'd in at around 17,000#'s ……

Those landing gears are identical to the ones found on the front of semi-trailers …. if that trailer is a 24,000# (2 X 12,000# axles) it will have a 2-speed gear box to crank it up
Those 580's were pretty light on the front end, most of that weight will be spread over top of the tandems on the trailer between the rear tires and the hoe on that machine is where the Bulk of the weight is, especially that they have the hoe tilted way back …..

SO What's the Point ??? …. There's nothing wrong with either the Dodge or the Case …. Dodge and Case …. Ford and CAT ….. GM and Deere ……. Seems to be Correct ! …… the GM and Deere's are Meant for Each-Other …… LMFAO

Best of both worlds, Dodge and Case.

YUP YUP "YUP" ….. LOL

The Case/Dodge connection has nothing to do with Cummins. It's because Fiat owns Chrysler, Case, International Harvester, and New Holland. That's why they are switching over to Fiat power, away from Cummins.

Imagine the looks you would get showing up to the job site with that backhoe and your chrome rims, LOL.
I like it though. Wish ours had that interior.

The Case guy at the booth said they were special made chrome simulators.
