Some great looking dump trailers, I like the flatbed and container options esp with a dual tandem setup

Here is a 20ft rolloff trailer that is ready for delivery. The container is a 20ft compactor for house to house & the top is for a forklift bin dump. The hydraulics for the compactor run off the trailer. Trailer has a 23hp Kohler engine, direct mount hydraulic pump setup, twin return hydraulic filters, hydraulic divertor valve, hydraulic radiator with electric fan so the oil is not cooking. 2 x 16k axles with 17.5 16 ply tires, 30k hitch with 7ft reach, hydraulic cylinder reeving winch system with 3/4" cable, 5" cylinders on the hoist & winch. Trailer can also haul & dump 14ft, 16ft, 18ft & 20ft beds/bins. For 20ft sea containers you can lock the subframe on the trailer & still use the same cable system to pull the sea container onto the subframe. There is a lot of versatility on this trailer, instead of having different trailers for each application.compactor9 002.jpgcompactor9 001.jpgcompactor9 003.jpg20ft bin 005.jpg

Is it possible for the trailers to work as a tag with a pintle hitch?
Or is it better to have the maneuverability of the fifth wheel?
*
I was inquiring about how this would work with an existing truck that was say for example a water truck or a dump truck? both can be used unloaded as a prime mover, just has to be tag hitch mode instead of fifth wheel.

Once the trailer wt goes over 10k, the CDL requirement comes along .... and the MCP with 'true insurance' and maybe even BIT. But perhaps the HD pickup or a one ton or HD one ton rig isn't adequate for the heavier weights?

Yes. You can have it as a pintle hitch style with self contained hydraulic setup or run a hydraulic wet kit off the truck if you are running a water or dump truck. If going with a longer trailer, a heavier class F450-550 or Kodiak with a hotshot pickup bed to get away from a commercial bed setup. The freeway truck scales have a sign that says no pickups, so that's why I like a bigger truck with a RV style pickup up bed straight from the dealer.

Nice roll off trailer. I like the concept of different styles & sizes of beds that you can haul on one trailer. Better than having many trailers for different jobs.

Also for a option, you can get the dumpster bins to have a door in a door. Just like a dump truck, where you can top hinge the inner door & open a few inches to spread gravel or sand on streets or driveways. So many options.

This trailer has a 23hp Kohler engine, radiator with electric cooling fan & a double return hydraulic filter set up for running a compactor house to house pickup. Radiator cools the hydraulic oil during the hot summer months. A diverter valve can be switched from the trailer hydraulics to the compactor or other hydraulic applications.20ft 1 002.jpgcompactor9 002.jpg

These are really nice custom trailers
How much would it cost to have one made for delivery to Ontario.
