Keep the photos coming. I really like these " lets see your photos of "X" " threads. I need to figure out how to get photos on here, I have a few.

Just got rid of the old Terex not long ago i think it wound up at the scrapers, its too bad because that old girl skidded a lot of big Fir and Pine and built many miles of NW logging roads. That JD 450 had over 17000 hrs when we had to rebuild the engine (that was only because the operator jill-poked a limb through the side screen, took out the oil filter and didn't catch it in time)

D3 Cat w pto & 3 point

Maybe pieces of a ripper and a gear driven winch ??

Nope, Original dealer installed LINDEX Model 500, Integral 3 Point Hitch & 1,000 RPM PTO. The LINDEX Company in Spokane, WA went away in 1992. There where dozens of John Deeres and Caterpillars equiped with these simple, robust units. Seems the majority where on ROW, Fire and AG dozers.

A ski resort in Utah mowes grass with a Rhino 15' batwing behind a D7? with the Lindex set up. I have a ball with the Brown tree cutter in the right stuff. No flat tires!

Here is a recently prettied up JD I found in Kentucky. We are in negotiations to get the same paint master to do the D3. Oh, The D3b is for sale if anyone is interested. :)
The boo boo loading the 750 Deere WAS NOT ME. I have no IDEA how the truck driver got the track back on, loaded legal and made his get a way before we could get back to help him! ???

Forgot to tell you... The Lindex Model 305 was for 540 RPM, just two different gears in.
the PTO gear box. The fresh painted JD 450G has the 540 PTO. The dozers have powershift trannys. The PTO in in/ out via a simple cable operating a proprietary jaw clutch incorporated inside the single reduction gear box. I am interested in old Lindex gear boxs out there as I would like to change my Model 300 to a 305.

Thanks for asking :)

Extremely cool lil d3 :)

Make sure he takes the time to mask the hoses on the d3b before he paints it, takes an extra 20 min and sure makes the end product look better

You are correct! I found a few things that did not need paint. Zirks, hoses come to mind. I was just impressed whith what attention to detail and the decal set. nice work. I suck at painting.

Oldie but still going

Here is my D4 model 6U in use on our property clearing weeds. It is a 1952 vintage and sometime in it's early life, fitted with a custom made 200 litre fuel tank and dry type air cleaner.

Also I have a 1958 David Brown 50TD Mk 2 which I am restoring. Fitted with a 50HP 6 cylinder diesel made by David Brown tractors in England. Quite rare as only 470 made of this model. Blade, radiator guard and blade mounting / hyd cylinders to go to have it all tidied up.

Here are pictures of my Allis Chalmers HD21 which we only use for special occasions in the Netherlands. In great condition.

We are currently thinking about selling the Allis Chalmers HD21 because of the expansion of our business we need the space it takes in the garage.

Furthermore we have an Allis Chalmers HD5 and a Caterpillar D4 in our collection.

I am seeing some great enthusiasts and Dozers within this forum and am following it for quite a while but never registered.

With Kind regards,
