Help bobcat 873 Only starts with fluid starter..After 1 spray run like a charm???

i have a bobcat 873, we try everything just cant start by normal , even run with a can of diesel on top of the machine with clear rose no bubbles , only starts with fluid starter , after 1 spray and run like a charm , so what can i do ???

Have you checked the glow plugs to see if all of them are working or electrical to them?

Sounds low on compression. Have you checked the valve clearance? If the valves are all tight it will be low on start but could be good while running.

Well first thing I'd be asking if I was working on this one is: "Did this problem just show up one morning or has it been getting worse for a few weeks?"

Next might ask: "Was any work done on it recently?"

Depending on the answers to those I would try coming up a plan of attack to solve the problem.

Very smart question ... Im doing that for 1 year already, i don't know how the engine didn't blow up yet , before use start only with NO fluid start but i have to try for 10 seconds , now only starts with the fluid starter ...i believe now is getting more bad .

Can you see a fuel mist out of the exhaust when it's cranking but not starting?

Does the engine use any oil? blowby?

From here it is starting(no puns intended) to sound like a worn out engine. Could be that this problem began with a glow plug problem and the use of starting fluid for a year has just been too much for the engine.

i find out the problem , right under injectors where fuel stay there is a bolt and you turn clock wise on injectors that way you have more fuel caming to the engine my problem was low fuel going to the injectors...Tnx everybody for the help ..
