Just purchased the dozer have ran it about 15 hours now. The clutch pressure gauge is not working. How important is this? Should I not run the machine w/o this gauge?? And since there is no actual clutch, what is this gauge for?? This is a TD7E 1987 model dresser.

Clutch pressure is not for a clutch but the clutches in the transmission and the pressure is very important. Make sure you have a gauge that goes up to 300 psi at least. and keep an eye on the pressure.
