Hello, my name is Tina and I'm from Austria. My family owns a small farm and we are into forestry machinery as well.

Hey Tina ^ what you said - covered alot of territory between farming and forestry- a few heifers too? Just cutting up with you a bit cause I hear small farms in your parts are ...not diminutive; and a few trees to shade the heifers? Hope to hear more...may I ask if you use the micro "Dingo" excavators and how they perform- the different attachments if you can. toss one for me

Seeking: Retired military, repaired a few tracked personnel carriers, break tracks, install new pads. Never done a clutch pack replacement on heavy equipment, but did it on a Subaru Legacy. I can do most auto repairs following instructions from a manual.. Looking for a manual now for a 1990 furukawa CD5B swamp track.

Hi, I am really enjoying this forum, informative and enjoyable. I'm a independent mechanic with over 40 years experience with a lot of different manufacturers. Looking forward to learning and maybe helping along the way, thanks.

My Name is Matt. I've got a old 580B CK with extendahoe. I've had it for 15+ years now and still love using it around the yard at home. I'm a nobody in the construction department. No big storey here, just love operating anything I can get my hands on.

New here. I worked for a contractor for almost 17 yrs. Recently left and started a new venture working for a Sitech dealer. Sitech is the authorized dealer for Trimble GPS and Spectra Precision Lasers. While working for the contractor, I ran several pieces of equipment including, D5G, D6R, tractor and pans, and 320-330 excavators. The D5G had an older Trimble GPS system on it (Sitevision), kinda how I ended up where I am now. I had some experience with GPS and am learning something new everyday now. I am the Technology Suppport newb at our new Sitech location in Memphis, Tn.

Hi Steve and every one, what a great site this is I just found, love the pic's and stories, just what I have been looking for as no one to talk dirt work here anymore.
Started out as a 1934 Nebraska farm kid, hauled first load of wheat to town at 14 with a 1929 model A truck, finally semi's, heavy haul truck, Cat D8 and 80, LF, LP,W can's, Tournapulls, D Pull, C Pull,High liners,Cat DW 15, DW 21's, DW 20,Cat 631's, 633, PP627, S-18's, MRS, RG Le. L140, TS-14's, and my favorite finish rig,, TS 24's. Also some dozer, D6,7,8 & 9, Euc TC 12, TD 24, FE Loader, back hoe, grader, crane, etc, only when I Had to. Just loved shaping and scraper finishing roadways behind the main spread.
Started a under ground utilities business for 17 years, after the Ma Bell break up, we almost starved, so took a Golf Course Supers job for the next 16 1/2 years. Retired @ 74. Now restoring antique farm tractor and some tractor pulling, if I was younger I would love to find and restore a little Euclid S 7 into a TS 7. But now the body says we have been around the horn to many times.
Have some old Cat and Euc pics and videos that may be of interest, as soon as I learn how to post them.
Thanks for a great site, I've been rambling on for to long ,

My name is Aaron McKee and I am the founder of Purple Wave Auction. Our website purplewave.com is a no reserve auction site that sells all kinds of ag and construction equipment in the central United States. Iam constantly trying to learn more about the equipment so I can better help buyers and sellers.
When I'm not working to get equipment on the auction or helping buyers find equipment, I am spending time with my 5 kids ages 12, 10, 8, 5, and 1. I am looking forward to meeting more equipment lovers on the site!
