The C23 brochure that I have states that the c23 tower is a one piece 92 foot 6inch pole from bottom of the tower to top of the haulback fairlead,it is powered by a 553 horsepower detroit 12V71T engine, And the guyropes were standard inch and a quarter, unsure why the others are double purchased, perhaps they did this once the pole got over 100 foot in height, just guessing there though.I will put the Brochure up that I have at some stage.I don't know to much about this yarder and it's history, apparently at one point someone tried shifting the yarder with the tower up or partially up and dropped the tower denting it, which was why Brightwater cut that piece out and converted it to a telescoping tower.I don't know how true the story is but it seems to add up anyway.
Also yes sp23 is self propelled, I helped them shift it when they moved in near us, it got stuck in the river for awhile on it's way, rescued it with our bulldozer though, I will also post some more pics of the sp23 torn down shifting at some point.
C23 is crawler base and T23 is trailer based.
Essentially they are all the same machine as in the winch sets as far as I am aware, just with a few minor difference e.g this sp23 has a sliding cab.
