Hi folks,
Just had the offer of a dump trucking operation in Tenessee and was wondering what the haulage situation was like in the US in these tough times? I'm from the UK but seriously interested in coming over to join you guys. Still awaiting financial reports so just wondered what daily rates you all were managing to achieve? Diesel is killing us here in UK at near $10/Gallon ;( and guess its costing you also.
The company shifts mainly sand & gravel. We run a rock crusher here and thought it might fit in with the trucking operation. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Be lucky. John.

Dump truck drivers around here get paid less than what you pay for a gallon of diesel.

Some jobs do pay a little more. Not sure what you would get in Kentucky.
