Hi Guys, hope everyone is doing fine. I´m having a problem with the ATC on a Volvo A30 traction control. This one is automatic so it does not have the rocker buttons to block each differential. For some reason the two longitudinal differentials got stuck and they wont disengage. Operator reported that he could hear how they locked kind of hard when driving. Now they are locked. I'm not too familiarized with this type of truck so I dont know how the ATC works. Is there a sensor I should look for?

I would aprreciate if someone experienced with this type of equipment could help me or give me and idea where to look for. BTW the truck is working now, it is not working on paved roads so I decided it could work like that till we find a solution. If you think I should stop it let me know please.

Thanks.

Juan

Can you get any error codes out of the monitor? There is a service bulletin out for a piston leaking in the dropbox, in which case i would stop the truck asap. To check for the air leak, remove the breather and see if the hose is full of oil, if so, you most likely have the piston leaking. If you are talking about the bogie locks, remove the air pressure from them and see if they release.
