I used a dry spray graphite it worked great, the dirt and sand didn't cling like it would to a grease.

we've always used CAT dry lube on the circle and slides, they changed the mixed over the years it used to be almost like a spray paint it was that thick, these days you have to use 4 times the amount as it looks to be mostly thinners

I have noticed it is thinner, and it still smells bad. My wife bought some of that spray sealer they sell on TV man does that stuff stink.

We run Dry Film lube on the circle shoes and nothing on the pinions. That seems to give the best results. I get leery of any sort of sticky lubricant on grader circles because it tends to attract all sorts of nasty stuff to stick to it and wears out pinions/circle teeth in double-quick time.

We also use dry film on engine compartment covers, door locks, seat rails, even door rubbers. Works just fine although I agree with others that it doesn't seem as thick now as it once was.

Thinking about trying it on undercarrage of lawn mower, just to see if grass will not stick to it

So long as you give it a few minutes after application for the thinner to evaporate it dries drier than a dry thing (that's why it's called dry film after all). I don't see why it wouldn't work - whether it would have the necessary lubricating qualities for the machine in questions is another matter entirely.
