Yeah cheers for the pics, quite a collection. D9D is the first of the series with a single air cleaner; later ones had dual aircleaners.
Is that a late IH TD18 with the twin exhaust pipes, or a early TD20 ?? Seems tidy; still run ? And looks like a alliis HD20 hidden in there too.
Little LeT model D scoop goes good behind a D4 or HD5 !

Looks like a TD18-182 series, the original horizontal muffler may have rotted away and they went back to twin stacks........there was a fella out of Wetaskiwin AB that started off his business picking up abandoned equipment after the miltary's Alaska highway project......saw a TD18 182 in near perfect condition on this widows yard that had his stickers all over it......

Thats some nice work your doing up there......hope you have a good winter.......

Alright Merv, I put together a video for ya. We are doing a little mining, pushing some rocks around. My Brother is on the TD-18 and my Dad on the D9, I'm running my little 450.

That last set of pictures with the long driveway, I traded this contractor that for the cabin that was built in the video. Turned out nice, always nice to have a warm place to stay many miles from home. Well hope you enjoy.

When I first started my company in 2010 I didnt own equipment except this truck/trailer set up, so it made do as a dump truck for this job hauling stumps and debris. The Doosan was rented. Doing it this way first really makes you appreciate having the right equipment later.

We had a flood last fall during hunting season, some of these jacks will try anything once. Out at our mine there are quite a few creeks to cross and there is always one set of hunters that come out every year trying to cross in too high of water to find the "good areas". These guys are lucky to be alive, our neighbor had to take his 330 out to rescue them.

Cheers for the video mate; some good viewing. Was there sound ? Or was the problem at my end; couldnt hear any sound. Those 2 geardrive dozers bellowing when pushing would have sounded awesome; could see occasional puff of that good black stuff when they 'barked' Working in a creek too. Love it just to upset the 'greenies'.
Hope you boys found some gold for your efforts.
Thanks and cheers merv :drinkup

I love those '79 Fords. I had a '79 Bronco with a 460 and 40" tires. What are the lift laws in AK?
