No i haven't yet but that was my next step. But I know that fuel is getting to the filter because i have opened the drain and fuel has came out but you think that could be the problem.

So does the fuel solenoid work. Or better yet do you have fuel spraying out under pressure if the lines are cracked open while cranking

Do you mean the drain tap on the bottom of the fuel filter? If so, if you loose fuel supply from the tank to filter, engine will die, but it won't completely drain the filter of fuel, fuel would still come out drain tap. What you need to do, the very moment it dies, is jump out of the cab, open rear door, and see if primer bulb is collapsed flat, this would indicate blockage at fuel pickup strainer inside fuel tank.

fuel solenoid works and no lines are crack don't see any leaks. The only thing is i can get it to start never mind dies to go and check the primer bulb. how hard is it to get to that fuel strainer. wonder if i should just take and replace that anyways. i an slowly replacing a lot on the machine but i just would like it to start again so really looking for easiest and cheapest solutions but i will try any thing. thanks

Sounds like when you changed the fuel pump, air was introduced into the system. Take the filter or filters off and make sure they are full. Then loosen the injector lines at the injectors and bleed the system by either by useing the manual primer pump if it has one or cranking the engine till you see fuel comming from the lines. With that done, don't assume that the solinoid is working properly. Being a magnetic coil, the windings can be breaking down when it gets warm, then work when it cools off. If it is an external solinoid, try securing it in the run position. (keeping in mind that if this is the problem it will not die when you shut it off, so it would be helpful to have someone available to release it) The other method you could try is to activate the solinoid and leave it set for a while to see if it warms up and releases itself. I would lean toward the solinoid being bad based on your discreption of how it acted. But I have been fooled before. LOL
Just.

It's not necessary to crack open injection lines on the Kubota in a 753. One simply installs a new filter, open the bleeder screw on top of the filter housing, operate the primer bulb until fuel runs from bleeder screw, close the bleeder screw. Then you turn the knurled knob on the injection pump fuel return port CCW to open the return line restrictor valve, pump the primer bulb 6 to 8 times to purge air from injection pump, close return line valve by turning knurled knob CW until it seats. Engine should now fire off after just a few cranks if shut down solenoid has fuel lever in "Run" position.
