Would someone be able to give us some info on filters for this machine? We are in Michigan.
We have been told that we should use HyTran Ultra, Is that correct?

you looking for the filter numbers? Or what fluid to run in the hyds? Always ran str8 10W when we owned them but company i work for now we get Donex TD fluid in bulk and run that in the hyd system
There are two canister filters for the hyd, plus a screen filter that gets cleaned and then of course the tank filter.

Thanks for the reply'
Looking for filter numbers first. We would like to find the filters before taking the old ones out, just in case we wreck them and they dont have any info on them.
Secondly, we have been told to use HyTran Ultra. Is that the proper oil or will others work as well?

Appreciate it,

Mark

Sorry bout not getting back to you sooner. I get time i will make a copy of what i have in the operators manual and a list of what we always ran. The Donex meets and exceeds, its good stuff(I belive it is a Shell equivilent, of the Donex TD) The filters shouldn't be a big issue as you should be able to get them easy enough, at a auto parts store.

Got all the fluids and filters changed. Ran a few hours and blew a few hoses. Setting on blocks at the moment waiting for new rails. Should be back in business next week. Generally runs good and not too bad to run. Any thoughts or advice appreciated.

always always always!!!!! use series 3 10W oil in the hydraulic and transmission and 15-40 in the engine....been working on these for almost 30 years now. early 15s had the single pressure filter under the floorboard and the later have 2 filters under the panel by your left arm. I have service and parts and operators manuals for sale as well as all filters and anything else you would need...

Durt,

I appreciate the info on the oil and filters. This one has the filter under the floor board.

How much are the manuals?
