Damned if I know. The right side window and the door are Lexan. Front window and the side windows are tempered glass. They should at least be laminated glass but its not me paying the bill. I hate tempered glass in any equipment, it doesn't take anything to break it and then it explodes. I had to run this machine for two days with no side windows while it was getting fixed. That'll learn me.

aaahh it's the "tell the operator to be aware of that when driving" way of management from the manufacturer. nice that people put welfare before expense........... oh, no wait ...the other thing.

and two days .....boo i say, shame on them.

Two days isn't too bad. I've worked for some contractors where I would have run it until winter and the cab was full of snow every morning. :D

Two quickly aging pieces, hoping for another chance at life.

Those saws work great but it takes about a pickup load of bars and chain to learn how to use them. One false move during the cut means a bent bar.

good pics, i have a few shots of our 3-2154's working in a row. but was somewhat hesitant about putting them up because of the safety regarding chain shot and working distances.. i presume your mill doesn't hassle you with that?

Those machines are at least a tree length apart, probably more. The zoom makes them look closer together. I work for a Safe-Certified company that works for Canfor so its "Safety First" all day, every day. Nobody moves, nobody gets hurt. :D

Some green equipment I seen today. Had a matching green skidder to complete the assortment, but didn't get any pictures of it.

I am researching for information on the KW-Dart 120 log stacker, does anyone by chance have a copy of the sales lit on the beast? I am looking for a scan of it that tells all the specs & has a drawing of it! A good friend of mine & I are wanting to scratch build a few 1/25 scale models of this fascinating machine.

Many thanks in advance,
