To protest the "Pussy Riot" conviction and jail time in Russia.

My question is...why use the clunky old Stihl?, when a Husqvarna would have been a much better choice for a quicker, more efficient form of protest. Looks like that chain needs a good filing to sharpen it. Too bad my dad is long gone, he'd have that fixed up in a flash.

And by the way...more people should approach their work this way...did you see the way she marched right up and got to work, with no bitching, tailgate meeting, or coffee break?

And bless her for thinking safety and wearing the gloves and goggles. Long term vibration from the saw can lead to nerve damage.

And....If I had hair like that, I wouldn't wear a hard hat either.

Falling pants....are you kidding me?

See the video here...

Someone should take her to a sawyer school! Lol impressive yet tacky. But at least she had a manageable saw for her. At least it didn't look like the saw was running her.

Are there any chainsaw fallers out there who could lend a hand for a lesson or two?

Yikes! I'm glad this stunt didn't go badly for her. She's definitely a cutie. A beaver could have done better but like my old bullbucker would have said, "Well, at least she got it on the ground!"

Notice the high idle on the saw? Super dangerous! A faller I knew slipped while putting an undercut in a big cedar. He fell and the saw landed on his leg. The doctor did the rest of the cutting. He carried on with a plastic leg. One less body part to worry about.

I knew you were the right man for the job, Fitz. She's gonna need you in her corner, it this is a new career move. You can't let newbies just run around with a chainsaw without a bit of guidance and training.

So, we've linked to a video of a half naked woman, vandalizing a crucifix, in protest of a political action? :cool2

Sorry, guys. We do have to draw the line somewhere. This one just crosses it in so many places...
