Let me say in advance I expect some disagreement with the following. Here is how I would handle this- I would have a large sign made, at a sign shop that gives a factual account of what has happened to you. If you own one, make the sign big enough to fit on the side of your dump, or in the back of your pick up. Take excavator, truck and trailer and park legally as close as possible to dealership. Take pictures, with both the dealership and sign in the same shot. Leave it there a day or two. Meanwhile, mail the pictures to the regional rep, the North American rep with a note saying that due to lack of follow up, you were forced to take this drastic action. Also inform them that the pictures are on their way to Japan to the CEO of Kubota, which you should also do. I would demand repair within 2 weeks, or a full refund. What scares me here is when a pump lets go, it can pump metal all through the hydraulic system, so I would do a fluid sample at a independent shop, as the dealership is completely untrustworthy at this point. If the sample comes back bad, anything less than a new machine or a full refund is out of the question. I have gone down this road myself, with a manufacter of irrigation products. Keep your head, speak the truth and apply pressure at the leverage points. What they are doing to you is very wrong.
