I thought Cat quit making the big diggers, then I remembered that they had bought Bucyrus. I guess that's one of the new models huh?

That is a great time lapse video.
When I was looking to buy a Euromach I went round the factory and watched them being put together which was very interesting, but to do it in the field and those grotty conditions can't be fun. You wonder how the electrics cope being partially assembled in the rain and snow.
Also shows the joys of working in Wales, often four seasons weather in one day.

pity it wasnt a hitachi, them fitters will serve their time putting new parts on that pussy every time she croaks!
