Almost finished Jerry

Randy

You just get better and better.

Many thanks. One day I hope to have the time and $$ to have things done up first class like you do. In the present economy here, I just have to use what I have to survive till better times.

I can hardly wait to see your new project. Any hints as to what it is? Knowing the detail you put into things, I am sure it will be incredible.

About another month and I'll have it completed.

This is in it's fourth year now since I first pulled the body off the frame to start.

Never seems to end once you get started on these projects!

A few more graphics to add, but tomorrow I head back to the North Slope; Hope to finish it next time I'm home. :)

This was an LS Model. It was originally a vehicle which I bought for my oldest son when he was in high school. He wrecked it twice then over heated the engine and cracked the heads. I towed it back home about 3 1/2 years ago and started rebuilding it. First I removed the smashed front end.

Then I rebuilt the engine; bored it .030 over and put all new internals.

Then rebuilt the trans; put all new clutches, bearings, shift kit, wiring harness, shift & converter lockup soleniods and a B&M Holeshot Converter.

Then put a 3" body and 6" suspension lift kit on.

Then had a friend repaint it and buff it out.

The plan is to use it to tow my toy car to the track on weekends. I have a new set of 33x12.50R15 Goodyear Wranger DuraTracs and American Racing Outlaw II wheels to put on soon. I first need to paint the back side of the rims and all the holes in Signal Red. I'll post some more pictures when I get it completed.

Great job on this newest project. You really fixed it up. Darn kids, can't give them anything without it getting torn up:Banghead.

At least you got a nice project from the wreckage, and turned it into a real showpiece. Gee, I wonder how you picked the number:rolleyes: It fits perfectly.

Many thanks for sharing your experiences with us mere mortals:D
