did the trans work properly before the fire?

without knowing what exactly happened, i'd say you didnt wire it back properly.

as for the speedo, is it a speedo/tach combination? if so, then that works off the alternator. check the fuses too.

Yes the trany worked before the fire .I was very caurfull in splicing in the repair wires doing only one at a time and verifing the numbers on the wires.it looked like the starter relay stuck and all the power and ground wires from the starter to the fuse and relay panel melted i was able to unrap and seperate all the burnt wires before starting the repair.......after repairing all the necessory wires i have 2 plugs that i cannot find a home...one is at the trany it is a 2 wire plug with wire numbers 600x and 111.....the other is under the dash and it is a 3 wire plug...101B...864...and 600....i have the wireing schamatic for this mechine and i have looked it over 4 times and i cannot find thease numbers...the loader is a 95 JCB ...SLP411OOTE0527229....i was wondering ware 527000 series was the first run in this year could i have a wireing harness from a 94????.

so you replaced the fuse and relay panel too?
its hard to tell you exactly whats wrong without seeing what was done. make sure you have the right schematics, and double check everything.

I replaced one relay panel...and repaired the other and the fuse panel..I fixed the problem yesterday...I called JCB support...the 3 wire plug under the dash is for a buzzer that had been removed prior to me...and the 2 wire plug is for a cold weather start hydro dump...it ended up beeing the speed sensor wires there was a broken wire at the trany...that could of have broken when i removed the harness or it could of been broken all along...it looked like somone probed it with a test lite and salt got in the wire....now the only thing left is the altonater plug and 2 front wheel seals....and she is off to the races...LOL
THANK YOU Skata for your help
