Glad I found your site. Been framing houses for 35 years. I'm trying to get some help with some repairs for my 1995 Lull 644 Highlander and this looks like the place to get it!

Hi, I'm a 40 some year old mother of 5 that was kinda forced into learning about machinery. My husband bought a 2007 JLG 600A that had been damaged in a fire. So I've had to learn all I could about this machine. I was able to give the serviceman who came to help us some help. I actually think at some time I could work in a parts department now. We are getting down to the last of the repairs and I'm sure I will need all the help I can get. Thanks for being here.

Hello Forum. D Moline. Own and operate a backhoe service in Nothwest Nevada. I do a variety of work. Homesites, rural subdivisions (none lately!), septic systems, All types of utility installations, the usual stuff. I will hire out hourly. 325L, backhoes, loader, water truck. I Lurk here often so I thougt I had better crawl out from under my rock and introduce myself.
I really enjoy this forum. Dave

Hi guys! I bumped into this forum yesterday and was hooked! I was raised around log trucks since I was 4 yrs old. My Grandad used to own a large fleet of log trucks out of the Chehalis, Wa area and hauled mainly for Weyco. My dad is also a log truck driver. He has driven truck for 37 years now and is almost ready to throw in the towel.

In my childhood my grandad would take me with him out to the Weyco reloads at PeEll, Curtis, and Vail. I loved watching the off-hwy trucks come snaking into Vail. I remember it like it was yesterday, too bad I don't have many pictures of them. Oh well.

Some of you Weyco folks might catch onto my name. CWWR is the FRRA symbol for the Chehalis Western RR, which is a Weyco subsidiary that ran from Curtis and Vail to the dumps at Tacoma and South Bay. I have been modeling the Chehalis Western for about 4-5 years now.

Best Regards
Ryan

Hello, I haven't been eveywhere and done everything, but I am a GOOD operator! I recently bought a Fiat-Allis 262B, and I haven't done much work with it. I live in Southeastern Kansas, and if there is anyone out there that needs a job close to Le Roy, you just let me know...I have done A Lot of online searches, and this has to be the BEST heavy equipment site that there is (worldwide)! I am addicted to heavyequipmentforums.com! -John

Hello to all! By the way, I am looking for anyone that is fairly close to the Kansas area to get hooked up with, as far as getting jobs anyway! As far as knowledge goes, I'll take that from anywhere in the world I can get it!!! I am a YOUNG guy and any of you "old farts" out there that can give a little insight, keep in mind that the more you keep to yourself; the more that fades away! So, keep the good info coming, and have a good day! John.

You are better off to find a 3306 and stick to the original type, anytime you try and do a conversion, there is a lot to modify. A D7G doesn't need anymore horse power than a 3306 has, a 3306 is an excellent engine and the machine has a good balance. In my opinion, there is nothing to gain, trying to install a 3406. Let me know if you need more advice.
