I have finally run out of the surplus edges i had and was wondering where your guys have been buying your cutting edges, I used to buy all of mine from Mid America and Heavy Equipment in Houston Texas but i can seem to find them online anymore, does anybody have a current website and price for cutting edges for a 16 49g and price for a 16 foot moldboard?? What is your favorite website for searching for used and nos surplus grader parts?? I usually try to get the part number ebay and google it and then start going down the part connection lil book i get every month but it sure seems like the junkyards have quit advertising or gone out of business, I take Rock And Dirt and Machinery Trader as well as my Little Salemen monthly, anybody seen any new dedicated grader yards?? How much are new cat edges for a 16 going for now days and does anybody know it the newer 16g 93u and the 16m etc share the same cutting edges?? How much is a aftermakrt edge for these vs a cat edge?? I can not remeber the name of the aftermarktet edge maker anymore that we used get from HE in houston, does anybody remeber who makes the aftermakert grader edges??? Seems like it was same peeps who made the scraper chains and sprockets etc etc?? Does Berco or Itm or any aftermarktet undercarriage maker make grader edges????

Cat edges seem to be the best so far. We are trying Valley edges now. Seem to be very good also but time will tell.

Valleyblades are ok but I find that the fit between the 5 and 6 footer edges (where they meet) is kinda off a bit...and I got lots of blades that the bolt holes were off. And they got that goey coating on them that makes them miserable to handle. Cat blades have been pretty good for us.
