Hi everyone, I don't want to start a debate on chinese vs american, I just saw a tlb with a different design than what is usually seen. I've got the specs and a price from the company. Just looking to hear what you think of it... it seems cheap for the power it has...

I can't seem to upload the pdf, so here is the link, the price is 17K$ US for the four wheel drive version...

unbiased... you state this like you already know what we are all going to say, but you want us to tell you that its a great buy so you can assure yourself that your not just flushing money down the john.

Let me tell you a story from personal experience about johny come cheaply.

In 89' my father bought a belarus 420a 4x4 farm tractor with a loader and backhoe attachment, he paid 15,000 for it and traded a deere 70, wfe diesel, making the deal worth 18.5. For an additional 10-12k he could have bought a Case IH maxim series mx110 farm tractor. Last year, after 2800hrs & years of fussing with the belarus he traded it in. They allowed him 6,500 in trade value on the belarus, He used te backhoe so much that he never dulled the original teeth, or loader cuttin edge. Had he bought the case ih, instead of loosing 12k he would have made 20...

So in the end its your call, I know I'd much rather fix a case 580k or a deere 310e over that thing, where on gods green earth are you going to find parts that fit to fix it? That and a 310sj kills it spec wise.

Sorry, what I wanted was more a discussion on the configuration of the tlb. I never seen one with truck size tire in the front and in the back... also, it seems made on a truck platform... Usually the chinese copy things but this doesn't seem like anything I ever saw... I'm not planning on buying it but find it interesting design wise...

ThaT "THING" looks like a combine cab that landed on a truck frame as it hit a bridge at 65 MPH. and I have to agree with the comments above parts, resale, warrenty and it flat out looks like a toy. If I had $17K to spend I would find the best tbl used that was a Deere , Cat. Often I see 2004 and newer Terrex 760 or 860 backhoes for around 23~25K with under 1000 hours. A 4x4 deere will be around the same money for a 310 or 410 but it will have 5000 hour on it and have no issue with resale in a few years.

Looks like it might be made starting with heavy duty forklift chassis and the backhoe looks more like an exc boom and stick which isnt a bad thing i guess just diff . Definetly a neat color and would probably go good especially sense adding tire chains would be a snap and if you had flat on the back you could still move to an easier place to work just imagine duals on the front to, talk about all terrain .One bad thing the front bucket looks much narrower than the machine . I definetly wouldnt buy one for reasons already mentioned but if they someday are readily avalible with established dealers than who knows look at daewoo 20 years compared to the doosan of today wow.

I saw these all over when I was in Japan. They use the hell out of them due to tight work sites. And this was back in 99. I don't recall the brand.

some of the european manufactures base their tlb's on wheel loaders and the backhoe swings like an excavator, but this chineese thing looks like a bad copy.
