Does anyone see any reason why a set of Goodyear 22/65R25's wouldn't fit on my Trojan 2000 in place of the old crappy 20.5-25 bias tires it currently wears? The measurements are pretty close but I don't know if there is anything special about the rims...

I've got a chance to get a nice set real cheap.

This is them here...

Can anyone help?

20.5-25 uses a 25x17.00/2.0 Rim
22/65R25 uses a 25x14.00/1.5 Rim

Not going to work without replacement rims

Now that's what I need to know! The chances of finding rims for it are... well... you know....

It's just as well then that the guy sold them all on Friday anyways then. They were brand new Military Surplus and he was only asking $200 per tire (no wonder they went fast). He sold 150 of them and shipped 'em to Vietnam apparently. :beatsme

So now, just so I know....

The 1.5 and 2.0....... is that the bead size?

Other than just radials and bias in the same size, what are my other options that would fit?

Thanks for the help.... even the local tire shop told me they'd fit....

1.5 & 2.0 is the "flange height" to obtain the proper sidewall support.
See picture.

Quite a few different tire sizes work with 25x17.00/2.0 rims, not on my work laptop so I cant tell you exactly what ones right now. Might want to check for stamping on your wheels, confirm what wheel size you actually have.
