I was just on the John Deere web site & they have a GREAT tool. You can go to whatever type of equip. you are interested in buying, then on the left side of the screen, pick "compare". You can choose 1 John Deere model & 3 others out of a pretty good sized list. It will give you the specs on one page. It is very easy to compare. You have to give John Deere credit for this, whether it shows their equipment good or bad, they show it!!!

I just checked a JD 50 vs a Takeuchi 145. Neat info, but no breakout or power numbers to compare to Takeuchi. That always seems to be where manufacturers fail to list if they are weak. Nice for the side by side comparison, every company lists it differently, though.
