so i went to work back at home , and its back to driving dump truck ... some pics from the city job we got going on , its a couple thousand ft of water and sewer that are being upgraded, they running four crews most days....most of the time they run the main up the road using the 320 or 311 and sometime 307 its all on what fits on the street, then another crew will go back and tie the lateral in using the backhoe, some of the really narrow streets they been using the 303 for that

and finally what im doing most days ... back to hauling asphalt , heres the two trucks that are with the paving crew , mines the polished body one and the tri axle is one that got put together this winter by a friend that i was driving with before .....heres one from doing the sewer trenches, and doing a parking lot , one the bigger jobs some of the other truck haul a load or two

how come your truck isnt stright piped and that dm800 in the 2nd post is nice i use to own one of them you should drive that

Glad to see you have some steady work. Utilities are a pain but they keep the pay coming in. Looks like some well kept machines.

i dont know why , but none of the newer RDs are straight piped other then the tri axle but all the older DMs are, nice isnt the word that id use for the DM in the pic:Banghead its not bad loaded but empty being a short wheelbase like that on camelback with an alum body it will rattle and bounce that hell out of u

yea i know about bouncing i had on with a steel dump body we use to drop boulders in the back and those triple pistions would pick that body up no problem. you should but a sugestion box in the office and suggest stright pipes if you wanted them. Do those newer rd have 350 with 8spd
