Have any of you guys checked this out???
'90 case 580k, 4x4, 1142hrs, $16,500

from all the ones I've been looking at, this sounds good. Is this junk or what?
it's a mighty long drive for me.....what do you guys think?

Hey, da'yoop. thats a 20 years old machine with 1142 hrs umm that would only be 57 hrs a year !?!?!?! kinda hard to belive. is the owner a contractor ?? i would have a lot of question before i would "buy" that if you know what i mean. have you seen the machine and ran it yet ??

ya, I know what ya mean:) and it's waaay to far away to go check out when I think that something isn't right about it. I just thought maybe somebody on the forum here checked it out. I found it on machinerytrader.com

No problem .I know the town were it is in .It i about 45 minutes from me . Let me know .I work as a road mechanic so I do a lot of driving and maybe near it during the day .

Thanks for the offer but i need to throughly check out the area around me first. Hopefully I won't need to go that far.

If this machine is what they are saying, there are not a lot of these machines (that age, that price, that few of hours) around. You may have to go that far. If this individual is generous enough to offer it may be worth it. If it's not a big deal for him I would take him up on it. I would hate to let it get away if it's the right hoe for you.

I had a K, years ago, that had 9900 hours on it and it worked okay. With that many hours on it, it should scare away the flock away and maybe they will take a low offer. Phil:)

man wish I was closer...I would love to have that one 580 4x4 cab and ext hoe for that..But again it needs to be check out...like the seat got a lot of wear to it for them hours plus inside the cab.Let Tool king check it out you never know..good luck

I looked at the link that CM 1995 gave. I don't believe that the machine has only 1142 hours. That meter has been replaced or was disconnected for a while. I just bought a used Deere loader that had 1200 hours on it. The machine still looks like new.
