Here are some pictures from GA. Interstate highway construction. Most are of or taken from my grader(s).

Had to use imagination here to grade a narrow spot. There may be a better way, but it worked for me.

Ooops, pulled a few clods there.

We've accumulated a massive stockpile of dirt. We ran out of space so we had to go vertical. No one knows whats going to happen to all of it!

And a huge amount of old roadway. Broken concrete

Crusher Arrives. Pretty neat, separates dirt, metal, and product into separate piles

Might as well move it once to the fill. Great material, get some water in it and roll it well, becomes hard as the concrete it was. Excellent road base, we use it under our actual base, where dirt would be if the material around here wasn't so horrible.

After the crusher leaves, we still have a huge pile of dirt, and also a huge pile of crushed concrete.

This was the same area about a year ago. Even here there is ~15ft. of dirt already placed here.

Large section of dirt subgrade ready to dump rock. Eventually the centerline barrier wall and lights will be above these inlets.

At least it got covered before the rain came.

My 12M on delivery day, early AM. Looked nice but I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It's been a love/hate relationship. Starting to settle in after 3700 hrs. But I still switch back and forth between that 140H and this one. One doesn't help the other so I figure its best to stay sharp on both!

Are those graders brand new? They don't seem to have a speck of dirt on them. Looks like nice work you guys are doing out there

Thanks tippatone, we're trying to make it nice, but its been a tough job. Poorly planned by the D.O.T. These graders are not new except for the last photo. That was the day it was delivered. The 12M was delivered Dec. 2007 and has ~3700hrs. The 140H is a 2004 Model with ~8400 hrs.

Yea tell me about the GDOT. They are just getting the downtown connector repaved only after pressure from the capital.
