Here are a few pics of a hyd. Aspen which we switch between 8 & 9 axle, a hyd. tridem we built hauling off highway & a Aspen mechanical detach with a drop axle in the gooseneck.

Imbzcul8r that 1st pic is a sad day being the end of Fields with the IFP Blue 400LL heading of to Kilpala Shop. I remember you bringing that one or a demo there the day Hitachi was loading out in 2 pieces. You had us unloaded and running a full day faster then the other guys! Coming thru the Superstore lights with a 400LL in piece, wish I had a picture.

I've seen a lot pics from canada of single drop lowboys. Is it a spillover from the oil and logging industries?

110 ft of fun...

Hey tonka you have any closer pics of this truck? doesn't look like it has the little rubber extension on the front fenders? i wanted to do that on my new one but wasn't sure what it would look like. i know it would make a mess in the winter but it would still look a lot better when its all cleaned up!

Looks like a ton of fun. Did the forklift have to push much?

Yup it was:rolleyes:forklift didnt push much just enough to keep it moving as steep as the first part of the hill was and with the rain it wasnt going up moved the fifth wheel back to try and get more weight on the drives dont know if it helped it was just too wet and steep .Cant really take the jeep out the neck is too long and it wouldnt have had enough clearance without being able to raise the tower going around that turn.

One of my customers once told me "If it was easy, i would have called someone else". OR in this case they would have sent one of their drivers after it.

It looks like to me that that has the chrome/stainless pieces on the outside edge of the front fenders. I have them in my Pete. You wouldn't think they would make much diference, but they do. I have 385's on the front and their is very little overspray, mud or other raod mess that makes it past the fenders. Only in a turn, and that is going to happen even with the large rubber flares. it does make a difference also regarding how much offset you have in the front rims.
