Here's a couple of pics of the same machines, the 3754 leaving deere/hitachi factory & the 124 Madill moving further out Comox lake yesterday.

Larison, Yah baby! I love that trailer set up. Makes that 3754 look like childs play. Some of the machines that have come to the yard on some of the interior trucks just leaves you dumb founded. The 2554 that was so big for the bed that the bed cracked. Did you have all 9 when you moved the yarder? that gets pretty steep around there. You guys are the best. T.brown would be proud!

Drifter; there is 294 Net HP driving a 624C! it works well. I think this is or was one of the very 1st 624C in north america. It was Deere/waratah's testing unit. Not many hours on it for a machine a few years old, like 1200 hrs maybe. the 2954 is slower but is the perfect match for the head. the 909 is sweet power wise but for the terrain their in doing only roadside processing you want the LL for the reach.
i know of a 870C tilter with 626, was cool but the head is too big for the machine weight wise.

Grapple 1, we moved the yarder on 8 & used a pull truck on the steeper hills, even so Steve said he was puckered up, that Comox lake rd has a lot of lean in places & the loggers had added quite a bit of line on the yarder. We moved that 2954 with the waratah yesterday further up the lake on a tridem bed, nice machine, and that 3754 is a beaut too. The ORL boys that ended up here sure won the lottery machinery wise. :)
